How to get there:

The Planning Council office is located with other Multnomah County Health Department HIV programs within the Southeast Health Center on SE 34th Avenue, approximately one block south of Powell Boulevard.

Parking:

Parking is available on the street and in the health center lot. Planning Council members may park in the underground parking structure, accessed from SE 33rd Place, but space is limited.

Calling the office:

When you call (503) 988-3030, you will reach an automated system. To access one of the extensions, press 1 followed by the extension number, then # as soon as the recording begins. Each staff person’s extension has voice mail. If you receive voice mail, you can bypass the outgoing message by pressing the # key.

Meeting space:

Most Planning Council meetings are held in the conference room located in the basement of the Southeast Health Center. You must call to reserve a meeting space for Council-related meetings of three or more people. However, a room may not always be available.

Stopping by the office:

Council members are always welcome to stop by the office. Because of our meeting schedules, staff members appreciate a call in advance.

What's New

Priority Setting & Resource Allocations Process

The HIV Services Planning Council met on July 10, 2009 and decided upon priorities and allocations for grant year 2010-2011 (March 1, 2010 – February 28, 2011). Ryan White Part A funds are to be used to address health care and support services gaps for persons living with HIV/AIDS. According to the most recent reauthorization of the law, at least 75% of the funds must be expended on core medical services. The final allocations for FY 10-11 are posted below.
